Summer keeps going way too hot. What happened during these days? A few things happened, one thing didn’t really, and it is almost time for something exciting.

So I did spend a lot of time clearing land, scavenging, and fishing for two of the days. I did NOT go cave exploring at all during the three days. A lot of that is because of day 11.

Day 11 the governor was in town…and as I’ve seen happen frequently in this cult of a village everyone must be present when any town festival goes on. It is like a law. I guess in a town with under 30 people it is easy to notice when one no shows so I just go.

They decided to make a stew to try to impress him. And to do so they had everyone just come and throw any raw food thing they wanted in and let it simmer. The stew was proclaimed as only ok. I think that is generous as that is a horrible way to cook and there is no hope that would turn out well.

The only other exciting thing-I paid Robin to build a chicken coop. I still think she charges way too much since I have to provide the materials. However, I get to have animals soon! That, at least, is exciting! So,etching to look forward to.
