I spent a few days working on different things-and for one of the first times feeling like I was making progress. Things that happened during this exciting time:
- My first plants grew! I grew some parsnips! Not too tasty sounding, but, as it turned out, quite useful.
- I sold some fish and some things I found on the beach! Making money.
- With that realization I started going to other places. And realized I could sell there. So-money is coming in now, including from the things I get while cleaning up the farm. Robin may have mentioned that in the beginning, but I don’t remember. I was only half paying attention. I was tired from being off a bus-what do you expect?
- I got some new seeds planted-variety and all that.
- I went to the Adventure League mining area to mine. It felt like the work I did at home-just harvesting materials, but got a few interesting ones…Only went down two levels. But cleared them out pretty good.
- Accidentally gave someone my seeds I bought as a present. Stupid UI my life has. Maybe ask if that’s what I’m trying to do! I just wanted to talk!
- I decided to try fishing in one of the small water holes on the farm. I found trash, a can of pop, and broken glasses. I have no clue at all what to do with those…
Other that that-what happened in these days? I guess the big one you are probably interested in hearing about is that I went to the community center to read the sign. It told me that I should bring it things I find. So-I finished one thing (turns out there is a point to the horseradish and such) and two more things opened up… so I started working on those also. Spent a lot of my time with that and selling things for three days.
The only other really interesting thing that happened-I was heading home late (too late) and found out Linus is living off food from people’s trash. Thankfully Gus offered him food. I feel for Linus-wish there was something I could do-but I offered encouragement.
As I mentioned, my entries may come more in clumps now as I’m getting settled and days are blurring by. No need to mention in detail “I watered the plants” and such when it seems obvious that is how I start my day.
I am curious what the little box by my house is for. Something to find out later.
