Day 6: Good news!

I woke up dreading the worst: had my crops disappeared? Had all the seeds I planted been washed away in the rain? The answer, luckily, was NO, they were still there, which was great news. I watered them and somehow managed to finish a fence around the little plot.

The reason for the fence was obvious to me when I started…but less s o now. My original thought was “protect from wildlife” but I’ve been thinking… in 6 days I have yet to SEE wildlife past a few frogs and butterflies. My suspicions of this place grows.

After that I did a bit more work on clearing things…which will take years it seems, especially as my present tools don’t help with some things. After that I looked…and I had 300 wood! If you remember I had a premonition that said I would need 300 wood to repair a bridge…so I decided to try to find that place.

I got lost and ended up at a place I could buy livestock. Even saw some there. So while no wild.I’ve yet, at least I know animals DO exist in this freaky town,

I continued roaming and found Leah’s house and an abandoned cottage…and left to find the bridge on the beach. I eventually did and like magic it was repaired. That seemed odd to me as it was instantaneous. Regardless I scrounged some more for items and, again, as though by magic, “learned” a new recipe…sometime of burger, so I am excited. No clue how to USE these recipes (I have two) but it is a start

It was getting dark so I made it back home and went back to bed. Days in this town are super short. Future entries will sure.y start having multiple days at once as I learn more about try surroundings. Depends how much I have to say. Maybe at some point I’ll even include some art of my adventures.
